Last updated: [date to be confirmed on launch]. This describes exactly what this site collects and why — nothing generic, nothing copy-pasted from elsewhere.
Sourced London ("we", "us") is run by Dre & Ferrell. Registered business details: [legal entity name, company number, ICO registration number — TBC before launch].
| When you... | We collect | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Submit an enquiry (Contact, Sell Your Car, or App waitlist) | Name, email, phone, and whatever you tell us about the vehicle | To respond to your enquiry — by WhatsApp, email, or both |
| Create an account | Email, password (never visible to us — handled by our database provider, Supabase), and any name you give us | To let you track enquiries, save vehicles, and message us directly |
| Message us via your account | The message content | To have a conversation with you about your enquiry |
| Enter a vehicle registration (Sell Your Car) | The registration number | Sent to DVLA/DVSA (UK government services) to check tax and MOT status — not shared anywhere else |
| Reserve a vehicle with a deposit | Nothing card-related touches us directly | Payment is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store your card details |
| Use the chat assistant | Whatever you type into it | Sent to a third-party AI provider (one of Google Gemini, Groq, or OpenRouter) to generate a reply — not used to train those providers' models beyond their own standard API terms |
Enquiry, account, and message data is stored in our database, hosted by Supabase (a data infrastructure provider). Data submitted only via WhatsApp or email — if you enquire without creating an account — lives in those platforms under their own privacy terms, not ours.
This site does not use tracking cookies. It uses your browser's local storage for one technical purpose only: remembering the connection details for our own backend so the site functions — this contains no personal data and is not shared with anyone.
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com), which involves a request to Google's servers when the page loads.
Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. Contact us via the details on our Contact page to do so. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe we've mishandled your data.
If how we handle data changes, we'll update this page. Check back periodically.
